Qtec Fire Services offers a range of training services for OEM’s, Dealers, Mining, Forestry, and general fire company contractors. The training is broken down to three categories.
TRAINING OPTIONS
Service Training
Parts recognition, service, fault finding and operation. This training is 2 – 3 hours training and takes in both the Standard and Compact VDAS range of foam spray fire suppression systems. During the training we start with basic recognition of the systems and parts, which then progresses into the fault finding and servicing.
Dealer Training
Parts recognition, design, installation, services, fault finding, and operation. This training is a day’s training and takes in both the Standard and Compact VDAS range of foam spray fire suppression systems. During the training, we start with basic recognition of the systems and parts, which then progresses into the design and installation and finish off with commissioning and servicing. The training also has a multi-choice test to be completed at the end of the day. For all training completed at Qtec Fire Services facility in Brisbane a tour of our manufacturing and processes is provided, along with smoke and lunch. (Covered shoes/boots are required).
Operation Training
This type of training is for the operators of the equipment to give them a basic understanding of the fire suppression systems and how it helps then as a safety device for escape and to have an understanding on how the system effects the operation of the machine they are operating. This training takes 1 -1.5 hours and takes in the parts recognition, and operation of the systems a well as daily checks and fault recognition.
VDAS SYSTEM TRAINING
All training provided by Qtec Fire Services is Qtec OEM training, on our systems, their performance, abilities, and flexibility in its design, the ability to meet the market needs and industries expectations. There are similarities to other foam spray systems, which we discuss so the student has a healthy understanding of the system/s and other products.
All Qtec Fire Services training is available at our Brisbane facility or on site, the later needs to be quoted for purposes of flights, accommodation and travel.
